I have a junk car that did not run, and sold all profitable parts off of. I then signed the title over to my boss who proceeded to scrap the what was left of the car. This was done in April 2011. No receipts or anything was ever given. No bill of sale, I just signed the title and hand over the car as it was scrap.

Come a week ago the vehicle showed up on my property tax for 2011. What do I need to do to clear this, and get it corrected? What can I do? I'd rather not pay on a car that was turned into scrap.
